The three cultures are pre-Hispanic, Spanish colonial, and mestizo Mexico held together in one square that tells the story of this country better than any textbook.Tlatelolco was the site of the last battle of the Aztec-Spanish war in 1521, and later of the 1968 Tlatelolco Massacre.
